Operational Assistance

The Murex system combines capital with high-quality operational assistance to help grow current and prospective portfolio companies. While assistance is always customized to a company’s needs, a key theme is the advancement of progressive business practices -- like profit-sharing plans and broad-based stock ownership - that align financial performance with enhanced corporate culture.

Companies can receive up to $250,000 of assistance provided by professional third-party consultants. Services are provided at no cost to the company. Recent examples include:

• strategic planning;
• marketing studies;
• performance-based incentive planning;
• patent fi lings;
• management recruiting and/or succession planning;
• new product development;
• turnaround strategy; and
• comprehensive business planning.
